Configuration Settings: Publication Settings
Use these settings to choose archiving and versioning options for the publication process on a global, library or individual site basis.
If you adjust any settings, remember to click on the Save Changes button before closing the Configuration tool.
Global Settings
WARNING: Changing certain fields in this section will update the corresponding fields in ALL libraries and ALL sites.

Theme |
Dropdown menu to select a library theme. Themes alter the look and feel of the Triaster Server tools, library and published content. Changes to published content will only appear following a republish. |
Publication |
VML-Visio publishes the maps in VML file format that can only be used in Internet Explorer v10 and earlier.
SVG-Visio publishes the maps in SVG file format, which is available in many browsers, using Visio.
SVG-Triaster publishes the maps in SVG file format using Aspose.
Change to published content will only appear following a republish (see Changing from VML to SVG Format). |
Use Ask The Crowd For Feedback |
This enables Ask the Crowd feedback. |
Ask The Crowd External Feedback URL |
This is where to put your Ask the Crowd external feedback link. |
SVG Click Behavior (Single Click, Double Click) |
This changes the single and double click behaviour of the maps on the process library. |
Responsibility Tab |
If ticked, then the Responsibility box is visible on published process map content for Activities. |
Archive Maps |
If ticked, all maps within the multi-map root will be copied into a date-stamped folder (specified by Archive Path, see below).
Disabled by default for all sites. |
Archive Path |
Location to be used for archiving maps (if Archive Maps, above, has been ticked).
For example: C:\Triaster\TriasterServer2011\mapstore\Archives\Process Library\Prelive Maps |
Archive HTML |
If this box is ticked, the published HTML of any changed maps will be copied into a uniquely-named folder.
This resides next to the html folder within a particular site. By default, this only applies to the Live site. |
Write Revision History |
If ticked, writes to the Change History file each time a publish is done.
By default, this only applies to the Live site. |
Increment Version No |
If ticked, automatically increments the version number by one upon every publication. |
Increment Revision No |
If ticked, automatically increments the revision number upon publication.
Disabled by default for all sites. |
Delete Obsolete HTML |
If ticked, removes HTML files from a site unless the source Visio file is present. |
Copy Maps (Sandpit to Prelive) |
If ticked, any map marked as Ready for Approval is copied automatically from the Sandpit site to Prelive during publication.
The version in the Sandpit site is locked. |
Copy Maps (Prelive to Live) |
If ticked, any fully approved map is copied automatically from the Prelive site to Live. |
Copy Maps (Prelive to Sandpit) |
If ticked, any map marked for rework is copied automatically from the Prelive site to Sandpit (overwriting any map of the same name). |
Send Warning (Redundant Maps in Prelive) |
If ticked, a warning is sent to the Library Administrator if any maps are present in Live or Prelive sites that are not present in the corresponding Sandpit site. |
Auto Publish Interval (Minutes) |
Number of minutes between checks for changed maps. |
Auto Publish on Map Copy |
If ticked, a publish will start automatically if any maps are copied into a site. |
Auto Publish Active |
If ticked, a publication will start automatically if any changed maps are detected in the library. |
Library Settings

Site Settings
If you have not already done so, select the library containing the site you want to configure from the dropdown list at the top of the Library Settings section.
Then, select the site to be configured from the Site Setting's dropdown list.
NOTE: Changing fields in this section will update the corresponding field in the selected site in the selected library ONLY.
